Texas Historical marker at Flatos former home.

“A Texas Historical Marker  was dedicated to F. W. Flato was unveiled in Flatonia, Texas on Saturday, May 20th at 1pm. It was held in front of the home that once was the Flato family home at 830 Penn Street, Flatonia. The granddaughter of the people who now own the home applied for and got an official marker from the Texas Historical Commission. Many decendants of Frederck Flato were in attendance for this ceremony.

A slide show of the event was created and distributed to those in the Amsler family that attended this event.
The following note was sent to Judy pate curator of Arni Museum where visitors can view the slide show of that event at the museum

Amsler Cousins, Sherry Shaw, Tommy Amsler, etc. met in Flatonia to partcipate in the celebration of our Flato extended family at this dedication of Texas Historical marker honoring Fredrch Wilheim Flato:

We e met any descendants of the Flato family all extended cousins of the Amslers. Sophia Flato was mother to William Tell Amsler.
